Dear Nick, Dear William Tell Team,
We’re Michael and Matteo, two film music composers from Switzerland, living with one foot in London.
We were very touched by GIGI & NATE and how you portrait Nate’s terrible fate in this most extraordinarily hopeful way. It’s these contrasts that fascinate us and make us want to write music for stories.
When we read about WILLIAM TELL being in production we thought that we have to reach out to you.
The plot outline sounds incredibly exciting and we think that our Swiss musical background and our strong connection to the local music scene could be of help in telling the story musically.
We would like to introduce ourselves and our work here and would be incredibly grateful if we could borrow a few minutes of your time.

The two composers, two time Golden Eye Award Nominees and one time Golden Eye Award Winner, make up a dazzlingly skilled composer team who create evocative and emotional scores across all genres of film, television and advertising.
Recent work highlights include scores for the highly successful Swiss feature films Needle Park Baby (2020) and The Neighbours from Upstairs (2023), the Gaumont Television thriller series Hors Saison (2022), and New Heights (2022) - the first Swiss TV series available in 190 countries on Netflix.
They have also scored the official Samsung advertisement for the 2020 olympics in Tokyo as well as arranged and produced the title song for the historical drama Sisi & I which premiered in the 2023 Berlinale panorama section.
Further highlights are scores for agencies including W+K Amsterdam, Grey/Townhouse NY and The Community US.They are determined to work with the best possible musical collaborators in the field, including: Anthony Weeden (conductor: The Theory of Everything, Thor), Cliff Masterson (conductor: The Batman, Rings Of Power), Katherine Tinker (pianist: Spencer, Phantom Thread), Nick Wollage (engineer: The Northman, Solo – A Star Wars Story), musicians of the London Symphony Orchestra and the London Contemporary Orchestra. They have recorded scores at the renonwned Abbey Road Studios and AIR Studios in London.
They share an incredible passion for sampling and lock themselves regularly up for several days in their studio.
The weirder the sound the more excited they are. Sometimes they end up with a small forest and all the broken chairs from the neighbourhood. -
